Celebration at Camp 4:  Highlights from the Climber's Reunion 9/25/99.

The celebration at Yosemite on 25 September, 1999 commemorated the "determination of eligibility" to list Camp 4 in the National Register of Historic Places. It was also the first reunion of the Camp 4 community in 60-plus years. Hear pioneers from Warren Harding and Yvon Chouinard to Steph Davis, and Jose Pereyra, tell us what climbing is all about.

"If John Muir were here today, where would he be staying? Camp 4, of course! Revolutions are often caused by just one person. John Muir got us all started in clean climbing and leaving no trace in the wilderness. There could be another John Muir in Camp 4 right now. That's why we need Camp 4."
